This photographic print captures the Buffalo Longhouse from a unique aerial view just above the water’s edge, revealing a textured wooden dock softly lit by warm ambient lights. Using my drone, I lifted the camera about 10 feet to get a perspective I had wanted for years but couldn’t achieve from the ground. The building’s weathered siding, glowing windows, and bold “BUFFALO” sign radiate a welcoming warmth against the night sky. Beyond, boats and string lights add to the lively, inviting atmosphere along the canal. The rich interplay of light and shadow, along with the reflective wet wood, creates a quiet, contemplative mood that brings this urban waterfront scene to life.
